NO Tardies in November
We have noticed many students coming in late every morning. It is really a problem! We are encouraging and supporting the efforts to have a NO TARDY NOVEMBER and hope you as parents and students will also!
It is disruptive to have children come in late. It interrupts the whole class when the teacher must stop what he/she is doing when the student comes in. Not to mention, that the late student also can miss valuable instruction. We put so much concern into our children’s education to have something as simple as being on time get in the way of success. Being on time is an important life skill and we need to teach our kids and set good examples of this.
Let’s make it a goal /habit to get up 10-15 minutes earlier. Let’s pack backpacks, make lunches or set out clothes to wear the night before so that we won’t be late! Remember, school starts at 8:55 a.m. and the LATE bell is at 9:00 a.m.
Remember to continue to collect Box Top and Labels for Education labels. We would like you to send them to your students teacher every month.
We would also like to thank Wal-Mart for their generous donation of 7,000 box tops!
