Please stop and sign in & out at the office.  All visitors must wear a visitor’s pass while in the school.  We appreciate your patience as we try to provide the safest enviroment for your student that we can.

NEW TECHNOLOGY IN THE SCHOOL

We have been busy this month purchasing much needed technology for our students.  We were able to purchase iPads for each grade level, ELMO document cameras for several teachers, and Promethean boards for our Kindergarten teachers.  The teachers are very excited and grateful for the opportunity to add these components to their classrooms.  You can look forward to seeing these items in use everyday in our building!  Thank you PTA!

READING INCENTIVE PROGRAM – “SUPERSTAR READER”          

We have loved seeing the SUPERSTAR calendars come in!  Bloomington Elementary has great readers!   Keep reading and turning in your calendars. Some things that will help our reading program run smoothly are:

Write the student’s name and teacher on the calendar, add the total minutes, and sign it. This will help each volunteer mom get students the prizes they have earned.

Keep up the great work at home. There are more prizes and fun to come!

BOX TOPS

Remember to continue to collect Box Top and Labels for Education labels.   We would like you to send them to your students teacher every month. The classes with the most collected for the month of January was K/1st Mrs. Waldvogel, AM, 2nd/3rd Mrs. Carpenter, 4th/5th Ms. Paluso – Congratulations!  .  Keep sending them in!

We would also like to thank Wal-Mart for their generous donation of 7,000 box tops!
